Toilet Auger= $8
NOT paying a plumber $100+= priceless.
So now you know how to remove an object from the toilet drain-
#1Use wet-vac to remove all water/waste from toilet bowl and tank. (Plug your nose!)
#2 Rip toilet off the floor, make lots of noise, spend 2 hrs trying to push object out of drain with various every-day household objects.
#3 Place toilet in the bathtub, go to home depot and purchase a new wax ring (for when you replace the toilet), and a "Household Toilet Auger"
#4 Sleep
#5 Wake up first thing, remove object from toilet per auger directions, insert SIGH of relief.
#6 Replace toilet- feeling very proud of handyman skills.
The End
(whew!)

Gross! Way to go Tyler- I think we would have gone with the plumber!!
What a hilarious nightmare!!!
I am so proud of you - nice to know someone so handy is so close to me :)
...a grow in water alligator: clever kid!!!!
OMGosh that is so funny! I'm glad you guys figured it out and that Tyler was able to fix it! hehehe Poor kid probably feels bad. I can't say that we've ever had to deal with things put in toilets. I have had to deal with keys in garbage cans though.....
Good job Tyler. I love having a husband that can do things. It save so much money.
I'm so sorry! What a crappy way to spend the day. Love that you got pictures though, you'll look back at it and laugh (I hope)
Heeheheeeheeheeehee. This is WAY to funny. Toilet repairs "stink". I do not know what is worse... the removal of objects or that nasty wax ring. I think it would be funny to work at home depot to hear all of the "so how would I go about________, because my child did_______?"
Yeah Kaden felt pretty bad- everytime Ty would come downstairs he'd ask if he got it yet- when the answer was 'no' kaden just said "oh.." and got the saddest look on his face. We didn't get mad at him, these things happen...
