Kaden posing with his heart-shaped casserole & cinnamon roll. I had to beg him to eat it in the end because he was convinced that if he didn't eat then he could go to school sooner.
He wouldn't let me take any pictures once we got to the school because he was too excited to get there. Once we got to the room he stuck on his name tag himself and went to find something to do...no tears or second guessing. When I was ready to leave him he was already busy playing so I didn't even get a goodbye hug! I said, "Ok dude I'm leaving, I'll be back to pick you up later." He just said, "OK mom, BYE!" I lingered in the hallway a minute to watch through the window- he was doing a puzzle and talking to the boy next to him. I made it the whole morning without crying...it was touch and go for a minute but I pulled through :)

I can't believe he's already in pre-k! I'm so glad he was so excited about school. That sure makes things easier for you!
Congrats on making it through without crying! I loved having Taylor in preschool because in preschool there is no homework! Not that kindergarten homework is hard, it's just one more thing to nag your kids about. You'll see soon enough...
how exciting!!! I'm so happy he is so excited for school! Good job on not crying! I guess I will have to make a trip home soon so he can tell me all about it!!
cute font!!!!
Handsome boy! How are our kids so old?!?
I can't believe he's old enough for school. Brighton will be starting school next year.:( I do love the backpack.
Sending my second to preschool just didn't seem as big of a deal to me. It was hard sending Maddie off-especially since I was on bedrest and couldn't take her and pick her up myself. I felt bad that I didn't get all hyped up for AJ as much. Although, I am excited he seems to love it so far.
