From small and simple things...

Here is our small garden- we're doing a kind of square foot gardening technique but I fear we may have stuffed too many plants in there...our original plan was to build a second box but that has yet to materialize. We started some of them from seed, but a lot of those died early on so we got some starts from the garden center too.
We have along the far (long) wall carrots (they look so cute I just want to pull one up and see!), and cherry tomatoes (the HUGE plant), then we have 3 different squashes/zucchini plants (oh yeah get ready for some hand outs friends and neighbors), 3 different pepper plants, some onions, 2 early girl tomato plants, and finally my cute lettuce over in the right corner (the only one that worked out of like 5 starts). We wanted to do potatoes too but ran out of room. I think next year I want to try corn too.
We pretty much have no idea what we're doing- or when to harvest/replant. I guess this year will be our learning year.

We learn something new every year:) I have never been able to grow cucumbers and make pickles, but this year they are taking off. Who knows if I can make pickles, but it is a start:)

I just saw on another friends blog that she started a garden too! I am so jealous. We have the perfect location for one in our backyard but we just get so caught up in other yard work that we STILL haven't planted any veggies. I'm interested to see how your lettuce turns out...
Keep us posted!

Oh, I am so jealous! Is it weird that the main reason I want a house is so I can have a garden? How fun for you!!

You didn't like your dress? You should "renew your vows" and have a reception. ha ha I don't think there is even a way for us to do that. I can honestly saw I wouldn't change anything about my wedding! I did everything I wanted and got it all! :) How are you guys? WE all need to hang out soon. We should have a BBQ or somthing.

I think your garden will be great. Everything so far is blooming. I have a friend that really packs her garden- way more than you, and she always has great success- so I think you are fine. I also have no idea what I am doing with my garden but yet things grow so I dont think there is too much to it. Thanks also for posting the new moon video- I didn't realize they were even at the preview stage but I am so excited for the movie!!! love it.

WOW, that looks great, I can't wait to have a house so I can have a garden. We just do tomatoes in a pot for now. It's fun, but I know what you mean, I totally don't know what I am doing.
