The Anti-Scrapper

My friends are always bugging me to scrap, and I am kind of anti-- I can't see spending so much money on supplies etc. So I've dabbled in some digi-scrapping (i.e. FREE scrap booking) and here are some examples of my work (hope you're happy girls, this is as good as it gets):

Rumble

This is Kaden pretending to be a transformer named "rumble." It snowed again so we are stuck inside...poor Bella was the target of his attacks, but she survived- barely!

"But my shirt says..."

So Kaden got this t-shirt last December from his Nana and Papa that says "If mom says no, ask grandma." He really got a kick out of it, but it's been a while since he's worn it...but last night he asked me for something and I said no; when he started to ask my grandma for the same thing I cut him off, telling him I had already said no. So he replies: "But my shirt says to ask grandma!" It was pretty funny...I couldn't argue.

31 Weeks

Ok, this is not pretty, but there have been demands for another belly shot- here we are at 31 weeks. (New hair too! I was feeling frumpy, it was a good pick-me-up!)

Happy Easter!

Cheese! This was the only semi-decent pic he would let me take on Sunday.

We colored eggs at our friends' house...

It was difficult to keep Kaden from spilling the dye everywhere, but I think he still had fun!

Sunny Day!

Today was a beautiful day and so Kaden finally got to play with his trucks outside! He begs us to play with them every time he passes them in the garage, and it is always too cold. He said was "making sidewalks" like the construction men outside our house every day. Here are some pics:
All this work makes him thirsty!
Bella enjoyed the sun too.

Au Travail

So one day I was surfing the internet and found this posting for a piano teaching position at a music school. I was feeling bored at home so I sent in my resume, not really thinking anything would happen since I am hugely pregnant and no one would hire someone and then give them 6 weeks off after only a couple months. Well I interviewed yesterday and got the job on the spot! It has really all fallen into place perfectly- for the time being they are just hiring substitute teachers and thus me being prego is not a problem. Then in the fall they will be opening a location pretty much across the street from our subdivision and by then I should be ready to start teaching my own private lessons evenings and Saturdays. It was really weird how convenient this turned out to be! I am excited to get out and about as well as bring in a little money...
