Our Last Week in Utah

We had a great last week with our Utah friends! Here are some great pictures to prove it!
That's Chad on the bottom! Then Tyler, Uncle Cameron and Kaden.

We had one last big free-for-all swim party- thanks to the friends who could make it! We had a fun summer with you all!

The boys being pirate ninjas! Holly was a serious LIFE SAVER while our house was packed/loaded! She let us ALL play for two days straight :) We miss you guys daily!

Mia had fun goofing around with the movers :)

Life Changes...

Well it's happened- Tyler has a job offer from Idaho Falls and we've accepted! His current job was basically ruining our lives with negativity and stress. It was a "good job" with a great big company that would have been a life-long career had things worked out differently. As things are though, we are not willing to sacrifice happiness for some fancy-schmancy career. Even with our so far limited experience in the new company we can tell already it is 1000x more positive and uplifting. This will be a good thing for our family.

That doesn't mean I'm exactly happy to leave though...we have formed life-long friendships here in Utah that can never be replaced or re-created. I will miss my beautiful house and the good neighbors and of course my family. The good news is we are only 3 hours away- and only 2 hours from fun places like Yellow Stone and Jackson Hole. There's also great outdoor things to do close to IF--so everyone should come see us lots! :)
We only had 3 weeks between the offer and his start date- so right now I'm kind of frantically figuring out new schools, Dr.'s, soccer and a new job. Oh yeah and we found a cute house to rent in a fantastic neighborhood with one of the best schools- so that at least is done! Our current house will go on the market as soon as we vacate next weekend- so stay tuned for links and pics. If you know of anyone looking to buy in the Layton/Clearfield area we've got a steal of a deal for ya! PLEASE pray for us to sell quickly and pass it on to your friends/family.

Girl's Weekend in Park City 3rd edition!

This past weekend was the annual girl's trip to Park City! We did shopping, the Alpine slide, the Symphony and the Arts festival- it's such a great tradition! Mia was a trooper- she walked a LOT.

At the symphony at Deer Valley- they played Disney in concert! Mia sang and danced the whole time!!

At Baja Cantina- our fave!

On the Alpine slide- Mia wasn't scared at all!

Waiting in line :)

Watching the Olympics at the condo "In da mountains!"

On the way to PC...

Doing gymnastics at the condo with Aunt Erica :)

Mia was so proud of her new big girl necklace- she really wanted one from Chico's but I convinced her to go for something more her size :)

Riding the pony at the outlets- silly face girl!

Jagger likes to swim! He was only 8 weeks old and jumping in on his own!

Kaden likes Jagger too-

Only the best daddies paint finger nails :)
So that is a smattering of pictures- I haven't been very good at taking pictures because we've been busy...big changes coming!

Mia's Got on Her Big Girl Panties!

MiaJolie is officially potty trained! She loves her big girl panties and once she made up her mind it was a quick and painless process! As her reward she got a princess bike! (And MY reward is NEVER buying a $40 pack of diapers AGAIN!)

Kyson's Preschool Graduation 2012

Kyson has finished his first year of preschool! He loved Ms. Matthews at Bravo.  Here are some pictures from his cute graduation program!

CNA

I finally did it! I became a CNA :) I have been wanting to for a while- they are in demand and the hours are so great- I can work a few nights a week and still get all the time I want with my kids and husband! I've been working at Legacy Village Assisted Living in Layton and it's really the nicest place- especially the night crew, they are really awesome and supportive without all the drama that comes with daytime :) I hope to eventually go to nursing school for my RN once Mia is in school but for now my CNA is a great way to help out with finances and get some experience.
