Boo!

Halloween was fun this year- the kids are getting more into it! Mia was a pro, saying "tick a tweet!" at 90 miles a minute :)

With faces!

3 hrs of decorating- good thing my room deco partner brought a tall ladder and her husband! (That's butcher paper hanging from the ceiling beams!)

Trick or Treaters! Batman, Venom (da Bwack Spidaman) and Abby Cadabby (from sesame street- surprising how many people didn't know she existed!)
Halloween was fun- though 3 days is TOO much! We had a church trunk or treat, the next night the school carnival, and on Monday the actual DAY of trick or treating. We got to hang out with Parkers though so it was fun :)

Family Pictures 2011 Edition

I'm SO glad these turned out- Mia was a mini-monster for most of the shoot and I was certain that NONE would work. I've been wanting Heather to do our pictures for a few years now and thanks to her awesome mini-session special we were able to do it!

Happy Birthday, Kaden!

Blowing out candles- my 6 year old!

Thanks, Bryon for the Lego kit!

Kaden's school friend, Nicholas- thanks for the Ninjago!

Thanks, Benton for the pin thingy (what are they called!?) Kaden loves making funny faces in it :)

Thanks Landon and Kyler for the Hero Factory guy- VERY cool

They played lots of lego challenge type games-

Tyler made his fondant cake! It was much better than our first attempt :)

Sorry all of my writing is at the bottom- blogger is being dumb! Kaden turned 6 and it was Lego paradise around here! Thanks to all the family and friends who were able to come and make him feel special :) (Incidentally I have no family party pictures- SORRY! I was occupied with the festivities I guess. If anyone has any they want to email me that'd be great :)

Papa is here!

Papa is here for a visit from Michigan- the kids haven't let him out of their sight for a minute.

Cuddling on the couch- they haven't moved for about 2 hrs
Mia didn't take long to warm up to him- she hugged him over and over.

They love joking around with him.

She is glued to his side!

"Smashing" Pumpkins

We were able to go back to Black Island Farms again this year with Bravo- this time with Kyson's class! I was solo with the 3 kids this time but they were super good and we had a lot of fun :)

On the hayride after picking their pumpkins from the patch-

Kaden's such a natural poser :)

Cute kiddos

I have 3 pictures in front of this sign- each one has a different child looking away from me! Oh well you get the idea...

Waiting for the PIG RACES to start- they LOVED this.

Mia on the big slide! I didn't get the boys- they were too fast for me to catch.

...just hanging out

Lately not a lot has been going on- our day-to day activities keep us pretty busy though! Tyler and I had birthdays- they were great! We went climbing at iRock for my birthday and a BYU game for Tyler's. Kaden's birthday is next on the 17th!

Here are just a couple of pics from the last little bit.
Lola felt left-out and sat right on the kids' game

Mia tried out some spongy curlers the other night- here's the before
After

Hanging out with mom while Kaden is at school

Kaden has really loved soccer this year- it's winding down. His coach has taught him a lot of great skills this year.
Little skater dude- I made Kyson a beanie
Lola loves to cuddle Tyler
Grandpa Henry had a birthday!

We went to the BYU vs. San Jose game for Tyler's birthday present- it was fun! I had never been to a BYU game before.
