Ok last night we watched 'The Lovely Bones' and it gave me the creeps- so much that I'm going to make this blog private. I know it's kind of a pain but I've been thinking about it a while and that movie sent me over the edge. Leave your email so I can send you an invite- thanks!

I can't find my boys anywhere! These strange creatures seem to have taken their places!

(apparently Ky's monster doubles as one with a goatee)

Too Much Fun...

Miss Mia

She is not actually going bald- it's just that her head is growing faster than her hair! It IS getting thicker/longer/more blonde...
Now that Mia's little personality is emerging we are experimenting with some nicknames. She is generally a happy baby- as long as she gets what she wants (which is most of the time). She loves her big brothers- they can always cheer her up. She is mostly a mama's girl right now- probably due to the fact that all her meals are on tap and readily available there- soon she will be going on daddy daughter dates and that will change.
Kyson calls her Mia or MiMi (Nana used MiMi too). Kaden has tried out MJ a few times...for the 'Spiderman' effect. What do you think?

Happy Easter!

This weekend has been busy with General Conference and Easter.
Here are the boys getting ready to color eggs:
Coloring eggs- Kyson wasn't really sure what we were doing, he kept trying to eat the eggs. Mia joined in the fun too from her bouncer:
Here are their 'super hero' eggs
Mia with her daddy
Kaden took this of Kyson, I think it's a good shot!
That night the guys went to priesthood and us girls took 7 kids (all under 6 years old) to dinner at Red Robin! It was a little hectic but they were actually really good at dinner...here's Melissa (Kaleb is hiding behind the drink menu in a high chair), Kaden, Lucas and Elena.
At the other end, Kacie (Gavin hiding behind his drink menu), Mia, Myself & Kyson.
This morning Kaden and Kyson had to search for their easter baskets (Mia slept-in). Kaden got the Legos Indiana Jones2 game, Kyson got "Where the Wild Things Are", and Mia got "Princess and the Frog" (The Easter Bunny is not usually so spendy but he had some good gift certificates/coupons!). Tyler made us all cinnamon rolls and now we're settling in getting ready to watch more Conference. Lunch/Dinner is going to be Garlic Chicken Farfalle with Foccacia bread...yum!

Swimming

Kyson started swim lessons last week! It is a fun parent/child class and he really enjoys the time with Tyler. The object of the class is to acclimate them to the water so that if they were to fall in they'd feel comfortable floating until they could roll and grab the side. They sing fun songs and the parents kind of toss them around a bit so they get used to water in their faces/ears. I tried taking a few pictures- I'll take some more towards the end of the course too.

This is grainy because I had to zoom in so far but his face is so cute I had to post it. This was the very first class before getting in.
2nd Day of class- floating relaxed with ears in the water (VERY difficult- they always want to tense up and keep their heads out).
Ty's face says it all in this one-very valuable father/son time.
Kaden can't start lessons until after school is out so he will begin in June...for now he will start tumbling Tuesday and pee wee sports in May.
