So I'm turning 25 this week, as my dad put it- "a quarter of a century old." I am not however, old enough to be going bald, yet that is what it has felt like lately with post-partum hair loss! I'd finally had enough of it- so here's the result:
And now, I present to you for the first time...Tyler G. Kent, CPA
This entry is dedicated to Tyler, my crazy smart husband, who, after countless hours of studying (which was never easy due to ceaseless pleas for attention from his wife and children) and a few hundred bucks worth of testing and re-testing, has finally passed his last section of the CPA exam! Most people take a few tries, and Ty was able to pass a couple sections right on the first try- and there were a couple that gave him headaches...but he did it! (Insert shameless plug for your tax return business {here}) Now a HUGE SIGH of relief has blown through our home and it's time to celebrate! No more studying, no more testing, just sweet satisfaction :) Good job Tyler!
Baby Noah!
So one of my very best friends, Megan, does not blog...but I'm so excited I have to share this news! Yesterday, September 10th at 1:45p Noah was born! That's pretty much all the info we have for now, but we did get a cute pic via text message, so here he is!

Dream Big
I am reading the book called "The Last Lecture" by Randy Pausch, and one of the main themes is attaining your childhood dreams. It really made me pause to think about and reevaluate mine, and whether or not I've accomplished any of them. I hadn't even thought about them in years...so how could I possibly be working towards them? Well it was actually really neat to remember them, and to see how many I actually have attained. Here are just a few:
*Be independent/go to college
*Get married/be a mom
*Learn to speak/read French
*Go to Hawaii
Another part of this theory is helping others attain their dreams- and I am truly appreciative of those who have helped me attain mine (thanks for knocking me up Ty :) There are still a few more that I need to work on...such as write a book, swim with dolphins, see Europe. But I feel I'm off to a pretty good start. Soon I will need to think up new dreams-- who says they all have to be from my childhood?
