Please, please, please- help me! Kaden was really getting the hang of using the potty before Kyson came along...and now he refuses to wear 'big boy' underwear in any way, shape, or form. He's got a plethora of characters he can choose from to pee on- Thomas, Cars, Dinosaurs (he won't wear the T-Rex cuz he's afraid it will bite his bum)...

Well today I changed a particularly disgusting man-poop diaper and I said:
"Kaden, this is gross- it's like a real turd, you're too big for this."
and then he said: "Mom, it's not a TURTLE, it's a giant poo! And it's not gross, I don't have dirarita..."

So anyway, if you have any tips on training a 2 & 3/4 year old boy, let me have em! I'm so over this.

So my friend, Emily, gave this quiz to her daughter, and it was so cute! So I thought I'd try it out on Kaden. I asked him these questions and these were his answers:

11. What is your mom really good at? At Kyson

12. What is your mom not very good at? Your not good with that blanket (??)

13. What does your mom do for her job? Play with me!

14. What is your mom's favorite food? um...cereal.

15. What makes you proud of your mom? kyson

16. If your mom were a cartoon character, who would she be? thomas (the train)

17. What do you and your mom do together? Play with lexi.

18. How are you and your mom the same? We both love kyson and daddy.

19. How are you and your mom different? We sleep in DIFFERENT beds.

20. How do you know your mom loves you? Play with me.

Kaden wanted to watch a movie with Kyson- so they watched Emperor's New Groove together and Kaden even shared his blankie.

For those days when we're too lazy to make it to Clinton...He had a blast- he just played with that squirty toy the entire time and cried when I made him come in.

Yay! We finally caught his smile on camera! We were at Cherry Hill for Diana's work party- Kaden got to go mini-golfing with Grandpa Kent- if you ask Kaden, his score was 100 (on like 9 holes).

Kyson went swimming for the first time the other night at grandpa and grandma Kent's. He LOVES the water-his big brother Kaden showed him how to kick and swim around (in floaties)- Kyson was very impressed... ever since swimming he is all smiles during his baths too. Erica got some cute pictures, so I'm stealing them for my blog :) Thanks!

Today was Kyson's blessing! Ty did a great job and we had lots of friends and family come out--we are lucky to have so many people who love us!

So for the last few weeks we've been trying to get out and about enjoying our summer! It's been pretty warm out- but we've found ways to keep cool. Here are some pics:

At the playground in Riverdale- we had dinner with Parkers and friends, then afterwards headed to the park to play some boccie ball. Kaden LOVES playing with Elena- they do really well together.

Kyson was smiling up a storm but every time he saw the camera light flash he'd stop to look at it, so I couldn't get a really good shot of it- but here is the best I got.
