We had a busy Christmas this year- it started early when Ty's brother, Derek returned home from his mission in Canada on Christmas Eve! Kaden had a lot of fun making girlfriends at the airport, and he and Derek bonded right away!
Christmas morning Kaden opened his presents. He kept wanting to play with the things he'd already opened instead of opening more...so it took awhile! After that we went over to Grandma and Grandpa Kent's for more presents and some lunch. Then the rest of the day we spent relaxing and being together. Here are a few pics:
Graduation
Well I finally graduated from WSU this year- it was really difficult to go back after having Kaden, but it was worth it! I have a BA in French with a minor in European Studies. Not sure what I'll do yet- for now I'm going to be a mommy. Eventually I could go back and get my teaching certification, or get a Masters in something. I'm even toying with the idea of cosmetology....but all that will come later after kids get into school and I have some free time.
Intro
So, after much peer pressure I am composing my first blog. I can't imagine I have anything to say of interest, but it will be fun to keep in touch with friends this way.
It's the week before Christmas and we are all recovering from a busy last few weeks- we moved into the new house around Halloween, then I had school, a few ginormous papers to write, then finals, then family in town for graduation, and now Christmas! It will be nice to finally get a new routine going with the new year.
On January 2nd we'll have our ultrasound at McKay to check on the baby and find out the gender! We are crossing our fingers for a girl, but of course we'll be delighted with a happy, healthy baby! So far the pregnancy is semi-normal, no bed rest as of yet! I have a feeling it will go smoother this time now we know what to expect.
